Jared McCain, Tristan Da Silva, Isaiah Collier seen as potential options for Sixers in 2024 NBA Draft
The Sixers have myriad options in the 2024 NBA Draft at pick No. 16, including Jared McCain, Tristan Da Silva and Isaiah Collier.
The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Gina Mizell pointed out those three players for the Sixers to consider in Wednesday night’s first round of the NBA Draft. Philadelphia has options and cap space to attract big names in free agency, but could strike gold in the middle of the first round.
And those three players stood out among the rest, according to analysis.
“I look at guys like Jared McCain from Duke, Tristan da Silva from Colorado, even an Isaiah Collier from USC,” Mizell said on 97.5 The Fanatic. “The top of the draft may not be as strong, but once you get into the middle first round there are some good players who can help you. The ability to come in and help right away is something the Sixers will value at #16.”
Currently, On3’s James Fletcher projected McCain to the Sixers at No. 16 in his final NBA Mock Draft. As far as Da Silva is concerned, he goes No. 20 to Cleveand and Collier to New Orleans at No. 21.
Based on the board, all three could be available by the time the Sixers pick, unless they trade up or down Wednesday night.
Sixers could have great options in 2024 NBA Draft
McCain averaged 14.3 points per game this past season, helping the Blue Devils to the Elite 8. He was second on the team in scoring and third in rebounding at 5 per game. McCain is also an excellent shooter, knocking down 41.4 percent of his 3-point attempts and 88.5 percent of his free throws.

During four NCAA Tournament games he averaged 21 points, reaching the 30-point mark twice.
Da Silva averaged 16.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game this season while shooting 49.3% from the field and 39.5% from beyond the arc. Da Silva averaged 18 points while shooting 60% from the field in Colorado’s three games in the NCAA Tournament.
For his efforts, he was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team. It wasn’t his first time reeling in such honors. During his junior year in the 2022-23 season, Da Silva averaged 15.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while connecting on 49.6% of his attempts from the floor.
Collier was USC’s second-leading scorer on the season, averaging 16.3 points per game. He shot 49% from the field and 33.8% from three. Teams will like to see the free throw percentage move up though, making under 70% from the charity stripe.
However, Collier is not known as a primary scorer. His passing is where teams will get excited about potentially drafting the point guard. Collier averaged 4.3 assists per game, good enough for fourth in the Pac-12 this season.
