Snoop Dogg is having the time of his life in Paris at the 2024 Olympic Games.

As usual, the cameras were pinned on Simone Biles. She pointed out someone in the crowd and her teammate, Jordan Chiles, broke down in dance. The camera panned to none other than Snoop D.O. Double G dancing

His cameos in Paris continue to get better, and gave everyone a good laugh during Team USA’s time on the floor.

The Grammy Award-winning hip hop artist has become the unoffical mascot of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Snoop Dogg, an LA native, was chosen to carry the torch ahead of the this year’s Olympic Games, which will take place in his hometown in 2028.

It was announced in January that he would be headed to Paris to join NBC’s coverage of the event.

Meanwhile for Team USA, four individuals — including Biles and Chiles — have advanced to final competition in Paris. Biles and Suni Lee are set to become the first two Olympic all-around champions to face one another in the women’s artistic gymnastics final.

Together, however, Team USA would go on to qualify for Tuesday’s final with a 172.296 score, which was five points ahead of Italy (166.861). Canada, China, Brazil, Japan, Great Britain and Romania have all also qualified for the event.

Biles recorded a 59.566, which topped the leaderboards during the all-around qualifiers. Lee finished in third place behind Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade (57.700) with a score of 56.132.

Biles’ stellar performance comes as she suffered an injury scare in warmups prior to the qualifying competition on Sunday. It prompted an update from her coach, Cecile Landi, afterward.

According to Landi, Biles’ injury is a calf issue from a couple of weeks ago. It flared up on her during warmups for the floor routine. Despite that scare, there was never any consideration of withdrawing Biles from the competition. It seems as though the ankle is a non-factor in her first-place performances, but is something to keep an eye on heading into Tuesday’s competition.

For Chiles, she will look to advance to the final on floor while teammate Jade Carey is aiming to medal in vault.

The women’s team final is set for Tuesday, July 30 at 12:15 p.m. ET as they set to look to best the men’s bronze medal-winning efforts on Monday. The event will be streamed live on the Peacock app and NBC.
