On Saturday, South Carolina (10-14, 0-11) will square off against No. 3 Florida (21-3, 8-3) inside the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. Florida escaped with a narrow 70-69 victory when the two teams met earlier this season on Jan. 22.

South Carolina still hasn’t won a game in conference play but it’s showed promising flashes. Most recently, the Gamecocks came close to upsetting Ole Miss before ultimately falling 72-68. With less than a month left in conference play, South Carolina is running out of time to turn its season around.

Florida isn’t worried about turning its season around but simply finishing the year strong. It’s been a landmark year for the Gators, who are on a three-game win streak. On Saturday, they will be without Alex Condon (ankle) and Sam Alexis (undisclosed) but will return Micah Handlogten for his season debut.
