Steelers name inactive players for game against Colts
The Steelers come into Saturday’s game against the Colts with a relatively healthy roster. The main inactives are defensive lineman Isaiahh Loudermilk and returnman Anthony McFarland.
Obviously, Kenny Pickett still is inactive as he rehabs a high ankle sprain. Mitch Trubisky will be making his second start for Pickett.
And, Pittsburgh’s pass rushers are back. Linebackers T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith are both expected to play against the Colts. Each was in concussion protocol following last Thursday’s loss to the Patriots. But Watts was cleared late Wednesday and Highsmith on Thursday.

The Steelers-Colts game probably is the most impactful of the week when it comes to deciding playoff berths. That’s because both teams are 7-6. The Next Gen Stats playoff model says that if the Steelers win, their playoff chances rise to 54 percent. If they fall to the Colts, the probability plummets to 14 percent. Before kickoff, the Pittsburgh playoff probability was 32 percent.
