Cody Rhodes, the current Undisputed WWE Champion, met with Stephanie McMahon in Atlanta to discuss his pro wrestling journey in an upcoming episode of Stephanie’s Places. McMahon traveled to Atlanta and spoke to Rhodes at the historic Center Stage Theatre, the former home of WCW.

McMahon and Rhodes had the discussion there because Rhodes’ father, Dusty Rhodes, was working for WCW when he was young, and Center Stage is the place where he learned about the business. In the episode, Cody Rhodes talks about spending time at Center Stage and how much Dusty Rhodes impacted his life.

Cody Rhodes also looks back at winning the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40 last year and the special present Triple H gave him after winning the title. When it comes to his family, Cody Rhodes shared some details about how he and his wife, Brandi Rhodes, first got together. However, Stephanie McMahon spoke to Brandi about Cody, and she may have a different story from what her husband said in the episode.

Stephanie’s Places is an ESPN original series hosted by Stephanie McMahon and produced by Peyton Manning‘s Omaha Productions. The Cody Rhodes episode is the second of a 10-episode season and is available on ESPN+ now. In each episode, McMahon visits different places in the country that helped shape the journeys of some of the biggest names in WWE history.
