'Stone Cold' Steve Austin crashes ATV into barrier at WrestleMania, fan falls dramatically

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin crashed an ATV into a barrier at WrestleMania 41, and a fan seemingly suffered an injury. As Austin crashed the ATV, a fan who was at ringside fell to her seat.
After Austin finished his segment he and WWE president Nick Khan checked on the fan to see if she was okay. A slow-motion video shows that the fan was moved back to her seat after the crash.
It’s not clear if WWE will have to write a big paycheck to the fan, but “Stone Cold” Steve Austin enjoyed being back at WrestleMania. The 60-year-old two-time WWE Hall of Famer made a name for himself at WWE’s biggest event, facing Bret Hart in a classic matchup at WrestleMania 13 and winning his first WWE Championship against Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 14.
‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin gives an update on his health
In a 2021 interview with PopCulture, Austin shared his thoughts on WrestleMania being split into two nights. “I’m still working on that because it’s kind of a new thing,” Austin said at the time. “It’s different, but with the pandemic, I guess they got creative and decided let’s spread it over two days and give the guys and girls more time. I kind of dig it. I’m down with it.”

The last time Austin competed in a match was in 2022 when he defeated Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38. In an interview with Sports Illustrated in March, Austin gave an update on his health.
“I’m right at three months recovery,” Austin said regarding his knee replacement. “I can’t run on this knee. So, I would say I’m 25 to 30%. I’m just doing body weight squats and just just other stuff that my physical therapist told me. The best thing about the knee is I’m out of pain. I was in so much pain, because there was so much arthritis and I was bone on bone, so immediately when they cut all that stuff out, you know, you’re dealing with the healing process, but it (sucks) being in pain for all those years. I delayed it and I’m in a good place. I just gotta get healed up.”
