Super Bowl commercials: Teasers, cameos, leaks released early

Super Bowl Sunday. The final game of the NFL season where millions of fans will gather around the television to watch the Kansas City Chiefs go head-to-head against the Philadelphia Eagles with the Lombardi Trophy on the line.
And of course, the commercials. For casual fans, Super Bowl commercials are the draw. It costs $7 million to $8 million for a 30-second ad spot during the Super Bowl. Here are the top 10 pre-release and teasers, according to iSpot.tv.
1) WeatherTech Super Bowl 2025 teaser, ‘Born to Be Wild’ song by Steppenwolf
Summary: Four older women speed down the coast in a blue convertible to Steppenwolf‘s “Born to Be Wild” while ignoring several cars honking at them. Snacks go flying inside the car and one woman says, “don’t worry, girls, I’ve got WeatherTech.”
2) Booking.com Super Bowl 2025 pre-release, ‘Get Your Stay Ridiculously Right’
Summary: Booking.com prides itself on having a wide selection of vacation rentals and hotels for everyone. That includes Miss Piggy, who needs to escape from Animal and Kermit who are ruining her beach vacation.
3) NFL Super Bowl 2025 extended TV spot, ‘Somebody’ featuring Demario Davis, Arik Armstead, Adam Thielen
Summary: New Orleans Saints linebacker Demario Davis, Jacksonville Jaguars defensive lineman Arik Armstead and Carolina Panthers receiver Adam Thielen team up for an inspiring message of confidence, purpose and hope.
4) Reese’s Chocolate Lava Big Cup Super Bowl 2025 teaser TV spot, ‘Scooter’
Summary: Reese’s is teasing “big news” to come for Super Bowl LIX. An older lady is seen driving to an active volcano yelling, “lava.”
5) Taco Bell Super Bowl 2025 teaser TV spot, ‘Photobomb’ featuring Doja Cat
Summary: Grammy Award-winning artist Doja Cat teams up with fast food chain Taco Bell to photobomb customers getting a chance to snap a picture for the Super Bowl ad.
6) Instacart Super Bowl 2025 pre-release, ‘We’re Here’ song by Trick Daddy
Summary: With Trick Daddy‘s “Take It to Da House” blaring, Chester Cheetah and Puppymonkeybaby stand atop a hill surveying a city and say, “release the hounds.” Weiner hot dogs, Energizer Bunnies, the Pillsbury Doughboy, the Green Giant, Mr. Clean and Mr. Kool-Aid arrive to their destination and transform into an Instacart bag.

7) Nerds Gummy Clusters Super Bowl 2025 teaser, ‘Antique Radio’ featuring Shaboozey
Summary: Country music star Shaboozey enjoys a few Nerds Gummy Clusters while waiting on set. A vintage radio turns on by itself. A Nerds Cluster appears to strum the strings of his guitar with its foot. The guitar becomes covered in candy.
8) Dove Body Wash Super Bowl 2025 teaser TV spot, ‘One Small Drop’
Summary: Dove introduces a new body wash formula promising 24-hour lotion-soft skin. The new soap launches this month.
9) Reese’s Chocolate Lava Big Cup Super Bowl 2025 teaser TV spot, ‘Bride’
Summary: The second Reese’s teaser “involves lava” and sees a bride abandoning the altar on her wedding day to run towards an active volcano.
10) Doritos Super Bowl 2025 teaser, ‘Crash the Super Bowl: Slap’
Summary: Doritos always puts out a quality ad, and this year’s revisits a classic from 14 years ago. The man who appeared in the previous ad reflects on a young boy slapping him across the face for stealing his Dorito. The man shows a comment from 14 years ago where a viewer wrote, “about as funny as a migraine headache.” Doritos is offering a chance at $1 million for anyone who can create a better ad.
Those are the highlights, but just 10 of countless commercials scheduled to air. Several athletes and celebrities are involved in other commercials including David Beckham (Stella Artois), Matthew McConaughey (Uber Eats), Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Kris Jenner (Ray-Ban), Ben Affleck (Dunkin’), Peyton Manning, Eli Manning (FanDuel) and Post Malone, Shane Gillis (Bud Light).
