Super Bowl LIX: Betting odds released for Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift proposal

It’s ring season and we’re not just talking about the Super Bowl. According to BetMGM Ontario, there are +800 odds that Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will propose to Taylor Swift on Super Bowl Sunday.
Kelce and Swift began dating during the 2023 season, setting the internet ablaze. Fans flocked to their televisions to catch a glimpse of Swift at the Chiefs’ games. The NFL took advantage of the opportunity, showing off Swift on the broadcast whenever possible.
NFL fans soaked up Swift’s appearances. The showdown between the Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills on Jan. 21 was the most-watched NFL divisional playoff game ever and the most-watched program on any network since Super Bowl LVII.
Swift never shied away from the attention, continuing to support Kelce in person throughout the Chiefs’ playoff run until they ultimately won their second-straight Super Bowl. After the game, Swift embraced Kelce in a hug on the field with the world watching.
The pair’s bond seemingly continued to grow this offseason as Kelce stepped into Swift’s domain. The future Pro Football Hall of Fame member joined Swift during her Eras Tour and even performed as a background dancer during one of her concerts at Wembley Stadium.
With their relationship stronger than ever, Swift continued to attend Kelce’s games this season. It’s safe to assume that the NFL was happy to welcome her back.
Swift generated approximately $331 million in brand value for the Chiefs and the NFL from September 2023 to Jan. 22, 2024, according to Apex Marketing Group. That astounding figure has only grown this year, especially with the Chiefs making another run to the Super Bowl.

In February of last year, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell opened up on the benefits of Swift taking an interest in the league.
“Having the Taylor Swift effect is also positive,” Goodell said. “Both Travis and Taylor are wonderful young people, they seem very happy. She knows great entertainment, and I think that’s why she loves NFL football. I think it’s great to have her a part of it.
“Obviously, it creates a buzz [and invites] another group of young fans and young women who are interested in why she’s going to this game, why she is interested in this game. Besides Travis, she’s a football fan. And I think that’s great for us.”
Perhaps Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift will make their biggest splash yet with a surprise engagement on Sunday. Only time will tell. The Chiefs and Cowboys will square off in Super Bowl LIX at 6:30 p.m. ET. The game will air live on FOX.
