It’s quite common for an airport to be crowded the day after a big event in that particular city. Such is the case at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) in the aftermath of Sunday’s Super Bowl LIX.

Yes, there are long lines, but another issue is causing further backups, per Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports.

“New Orleans airport is a wreck,” Robinson wrote on X. “Aside from the typical problems, the holographic cover of the Super Bowl program is apparently jamming up the New Orleans airport by setting off all kinds of baggage X-Ray alarms in checked bags.”

Due to the holographic cover of the Super Bowl program, TSA is advising travelers to place them in a bin rather than in a checked bag.

“If you are travelling home with a Super Bowl program, please bring those to the checkpoint rather than transporting them in a checked bag,” TSA said in a release. “And take the programs out of your bag and place them in a bin.”

TSA noted the record number of passengers screened in a single day at MSY was 34,000 the Monday after Super Bowl XLVII in 2013. That number could reach 44,000 on Monday, according to airline estimates.

Eagles dominate Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX

Monday is a joyous day for those traveling back to Philadelphia, as the Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs, 40-22, to secure their second Super Bowl in franchise history. The Eagles were dominant, led by a standout effort from their No. 1 ranked defense. Without sending a single blitz, Philadelphia sacked quarterback Patrick Mahomes six times across 42 dropbacks.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts delivered his finest performance yet on the biggest stage, completing 17-of-22 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns. He added 72 rushing yards and an additional score. Hurts was named Super Bowl LIX MVP.

“It’s been a long journey. It’s a journey of ups and downs and highs and lows,” Hurts said after the game. “I’ve always stayed true to myself and have this vision of being the best that I can be. And that evolved, over time, into this desire to win. You don’t do great things without having good guys around you. The effort, sticking to the script, and always trusting the process is what got us here.”
