Sunday night, the Super Bowl LIX champion will be crowned. As is tradition, the winning coach is sure to receive a Gatorade bath – and the betting odds have been revealed for the color.

Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid will be looking for his third consecutive Gatorade bath as the franchise looks to do something no other team has done by winning three titles in a row. The color was purple both previous times the Chiefs won the Super Bowl.

As for the Philadelphia Eagles, they’ll look to stop the Chiefs’ historic run and win their first championship since Super Bowl LII. That year, Doug Pederson received a blue Gatorade bath. Here are the odds for the Gatorade color in Super Bowl LIX, according to Odds Shark.

  • Purple: +195
  • Red Yellow/Green: +230
  • Orange: +450
  • Blue: +700
  • Red/Pink: +850
  • Clear/Water: +1000

Super Bowl LIX is shaping up to be an intriguing matchup between the Chiefs and Eagles. Kansas City is a 1.5-point favorite as of Friday night, according to FanDuel, as it looks to make history with a third consecutive victory in the big game.

Since Patrick Mahomes became the starter, the Chiefs have played in seven straight AFC Championships and will appear in five of the last seven Super Bowls. It’s been a historic run for Kansas City, but Philadelphia will look to put an end to it behind an old-school rushing back.

Saquon Barkley put together a historic regular season to win the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year award, and he’s shaping up to be one of the key players in Sunday’s Super Bowl. Couple that with a Tush Push that’s nearly unstoppable and Vic Fangio’s new and improved defense, the Eagles could have the ingredients for an upset.

However, Dallas Cowboys legend and ESPN analyst Troy Aikman said he knows better than to pick against Mahomes. He’s rolling with the Chiefs to win once again.

“I’m like the rest of America, Tony [Kornheiser]. You know, how do you bet against Patrick Mahomes?” Aikman said on Pardon The Interruption. “There’s a lot of quarterbacks in the game that just play every possession as if it’s the same, and Patrick Mahomes, like Tom Brady, and like other great quarterbacks before them, they know how to win. And Patrick Mahomes doesn’t care what it may look like.

“He knows that when the game’s on the line that he will find a way and he knows exactly what the formula is. And the formula’s different from one possession to the next or from one game to the next, and he’s proven that obviously as I mentioned with the one-score games and them being able to win all of them. Until proven otherwise, I’m going to stand behind Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes.”
