One of the more fascinating things you can bet on when it comes to the Super Bowl is the National Anthem, and the odds have been released for 2025’s iteration.

Five-time Grammy winner Jon Batiste will sing The Star-Spangled Banner prior to kickoff of Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. According to Odds Shark, the current over/under is set at 120.5 seconds. The over is going off at -122, while the under is being marked at +100.

In addition to the length of Batiste’s rendition, there’s also some other prop bets related to the National Anthem. One is whether or not he’ll utilize a piano, which is going off at -500 for yes, and +340 for no. Additionally, Las Vegas is expecting some tears it seems, as it’s -670 at the moment regarding whether a player will cry during the pregame ceremony, and +430 for there being zero tears, via Odds Shark.

Lines provided by Odds Shark

  • Jon Batiste’s U.S. National Anthem Length — Over 120.5 Seconds (-122) | Under 120.5 Seconds (+100)
  • Will Jon Batiste perform the National Anthem with a piano? — Yes (-500) | No (+340)
  • Will a player or coach cry during the National Anthem? — Yes (-670) | No (+430)

As you can tell, it’s anyone’s guess how Batiste’s performance will go, but it remains one of the more fun things to place a wager on during the Super Bowl. Try and make some money before the players even put their helmets on in New Orleans on Sunday evening.

Moreover, it’ll be a special moment for Batiste to perform in Louisiana at the Super Bowl. He’s a native of the area, who grew up in the New Orleans suburb of Kenner. He’s been as successful as you can wish for in his line of work, as Batiste has released six studio albums, including his album “We Are,” which won Album of the Year and Best R&B Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards.

He’ll serve as the perfect prelude to what should be an entertaining game. It’s been highly publicized what’s on the line for the Chiefs, as they’re looking to become the first team to complete a three-peat in NFL history.

On the other hand, the Eagles will be doing everything they can to stop Kansas City. The addition of running back Saquon Barkley has been invaluable, and the freshly-minted Offensive Player of the Year is hoping to have his best game yet on the biggest stage. Time will tell who prevails in the end.
