Super Bowl LIX ticket prices soar after Chiefs-Eagles matchup set
Super Bowl LIX is set after a thrilling weekend of conference championship action. The Kansas City Chiefs will square off against the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans.
And if you want to be there in person, you’ll face a hefty get-in price.
According to a report from the NFL Network’s Field Yates, the cheapest seat on TickPick is currently $6,201. It will be in serious demand, with two of the hottest teams in football set to square off.
It will also be a rematch of Super Bowl LVII, which the Chiefs won 38-35 in a thriller.
All of the usual stars were at their finest this weekend in the two conference championship games. And both teams were powered by elite quarterback play.
Patrick Mahomes accounted for three touchdowns in a 32-29 win over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game. He recorded one passing and two rushing in the contest.
The three-time Super Bowl champion and three-time Super Bowl MVP finished the game 18-of-26 passing for 245 yards and a touchdown. He did not throw an interception, though he did fumble once.

On top of that, Mahomes added 11 carries for 43 yards and two touchdowns.
On the other half of the NFL playoff picture, Jalen Hurts was lights out against the Washington Commanders in a thoroughly dominant 55-23 win.
He rushed 10 times for 16 yards and the three scores. He also went 20-of-28 passing for 246 yards and a touchdown, without throwing an interception.
After the game, his coach, Nick Sirianni, called out the haters.
“How about our quarterback?” Sirianni said. “How about our quarterback?!? He’s a stud. I knew he was going to play that way. I knew it. Don’t doubt him. All he does is win.”
Hurts will get a chance to prove that true yet again, going against the game’s best in Mahomes. The Super Bowl will take place on Feb. 9 in New Orleans.
