Super Bowl LIX uniforms revealed for Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles
The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles have revealed their uniforms for Super Bowl LIX. The Chiefs will wear their away white uniforms while the Eagles will wear their home greens. On Tuesday, Kansas City went to social media to show fans a look at the jersey, including the Super Bowl LIX patch.
The last time the Chiefs wore their white uniforms in the Super Bowl was against the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII. In that game, Kansas City defeated Philadelphia 38-35 to claim its third title in franchise history and second in four seasons.
The Eagles have worn green in all four of their previous Super Bowl appearances, winning only once in Super Bowl LII when they defeated Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Philadelphia also reached the Super Bowl in 1981 and 2005.
Along with Super Bowl LIX being a rematch of Super Bowl LVII, the game could make NFL history as the Chiefs are looking to be the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
Chiefs and Eagles react to reaching Super Bowl LIX
“First off, I want to give all glory to God,” Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes told CBS Sports’ Tracy Wolfson after the Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship on Sunday, per Fox News. “Without Him, none of this is possible, and I truly mean that. I’m just so proud of my teammates and how they responded. That was a great football team. I’m just at a loss for words. I’m excited for New Orleans.”

The Eagles are heading to the Super Bowl after defeating the Washington Commanders in the NFC title game. Running back Saquon Barkley led the way, tallying 118 yards and three touchdowns.
“That’s why I came here. It was one of the first conversations I had with Howie (Roseman), that’s one of the conversations I had with my family,” Barkley said after the game, per the Eagles’ official website. “Like I said last week, I came to Philadelphia to be a part of games like this. Nothing better than a game where you can advance to the Super Bowl, so super excited about that. It was a team effort and want to give a shoutout to all the guys on our team.”
“I just think you have to give a ton of gratitude,” Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts said. “These are my personal testimonies, and I know my personal perspective is not always a reflection of what is most important to the team and what we’re trying to do as a team because every team is different.”
