Some San Francisco 49ers are making a big adjustment to their listening habits this week, including Christian McCaffrey‘s mother Lisa. Lisa McCaffrey, who admitted this week that she has Taylor Swift songs on her running playlist, told listeners on a podcast that she is boycotting the singer until after the 49ers play the Chiefs in the Super Bowl on Sunday. She went so far as to say that the multi-platinum artist is “dead to us,” as long as she and her boyfriend Travis Kelce are in direct competition with her son.

Speaking on McCaffrey’s fiancée Olivia Culpo’s podcast, Lisa said, “I refuse to listen to Taylor Swift songs for the next couple days.”

“I love her, I love the relationship, but we are boycotting any T. Swift songs,” she added on ‘Your Mom.’ “If she pops up on the radio station… nope. She’s dead to us this week.”

Christian McCaffrey has been dating former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo since 2019 and this week, Culpo purchased a suite at Allegiant Stadium for her future mother-in-law to watch her son in Super Bowl LVIII. The suites for the big game cost roughly $2.5 million, but even if you’re not a millionaire in a suite, tickets are incredibly expensive this weekend. Even nosebleed seats have reached five-digit prices.

McCaffrey lists North Carolina home for sale

Last week, it was revealed on Twitter that San Francisco’s all-purpose tailback was putting his mansion in Charlotte, North Carolina up for sale for a cool $12.5 million, according to Joe Pompliano. The former Panthers star does not need the home anymore now that his life has moved to the West Coast for good.

The home itself is pretty spectacular, loaded with a beautiful lakefront view. The landscaping in the front yard looks immaculate. And it comes loaded with a movie theater, gym, pool, and its own boat dock. He originally bought the house for $7.5 million in 2020, which would land him a nice profit of $5 million if he sells it at the currently listed price.

McCaffrey has enjoyed a dominant 2023-2024 campaign, and he’s been a massive reason why the San Francisco 49ers are in the 2024 NFC Championship Game against the Detroit Lions. He’s shown he’s one of the best players in the league yet again, rushing for 1,459 yards (career-high) and 14 touchdowns. As a receiver, he’s hauled in 564 receiving yards and seven touchdowns, reaffirming the fact that he’s one of the best all-purpose backs in NFL history.
