Super Bowl LVIII concession prices revealed

The concession prices for Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas are out, and let’s just say, it’s gonna be a pretty penny if you’re looking for an adult beverage.
Want a Michelob Ultra? Cool, that’ll be a $18.99. How about a deluxe cocktail containing some Don Julio Reposado? Get ready to fork over $18. OK, OK, you’re hungry. Alcohol doesn’t interest you. You’re in the mood for some popcorn. That’ll cost you $14.99, though it does come in a souvenir container and refills are $2.99.

The prices of refreshments hardly come as a surprise when you consider the average cost to get a ticket to Super Bowl LVIII. This year’s Super Bowl is the most expensive on record, with StubHub reporting an average resale ticket price of $8,600 per ticket his week, per Yahoo! Finance. At that point, what’s an extra near $20 for a beer anyways?
Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes going for Super Bowl victory No. 3
Sunday’s contest, of course, features the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is notably going for Super Bowl No. 3 in just his sixth season starting in the NFL. Though he has grown accustomed to the feeling of playing for the Lombardi Trophy, Mahomes said this week he isn’t taking anything for granted.

“You don’t take it for granted,” Mahomes said. “You never know how many you’re going to get to, or if you’re going to get to any. It truly is special just to do it with these guys after what we’ve been through all season long. Guys coming together, it really is special. But I told them the job’s not done. Our job now is to prepare ourselves to play a good football team in the Super Bowl. And try to get that ring.”
Standing in Mahomes and the Chiefs’ way is the 49ers, looking for their first Super Bowl championship since 1994. With all the firepower San Francisco brings to the table, Mahomes said that Kansas City is “locked in” when it comes to their preparation.
“We’re pretty locked in this — I mean both weeks, but you’re really locked in this week,” Mahomes said. “You want to make sure you get the whole game plan in. Get all your questions asked and answered so next week when you’re reviewing you can just go into the fine details that you might not have the chance to do in the regular game week. I’ll have that mindset all through practice. I’ll make sure the guys have the same mindset.”
