Along with the commercials, this weekend’s Super Bowl LVIII prop bets will have a large audience tuned in for action besides what’s happening on the field between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. One popular prop bet for this weekend’s game in Las Vegas is who, if anyone, Usher will bring on stage with him during his halftime show performance.
Apple announced hip-hop and rap artist Usher as the headliner for this year’s Super Bowl Apple Music Halftime Show in September. The 44-year-old has eight studio albums dating back to 1994, the self-titled Usher. He most recently released Hard II Love in 2016. With 18 overall awards, Usher is the fifth-most awarded artist at the Billboard Music Awards.
Alicia Keys, who released hit song “My Boo” with Usher in 2004, is at the top of the Vegas odds leaderboard. The next two artists in the odds are Ludacris and Lil Jon, who both performed “Yeah!” with the hip hop star. “Yeah!” was the longest-running No. 1 hit single in 2004. For the bet to hit, the guest artist must perform on stage with a microphone.
Last year, Rihanna had no special guest on stage with her for the halftime show. However, many considered her unborn child to be the surprise guest.
