Super Bowl Odds: Updated betting lines following Week 15 of NFL season
As the NFL regular season reaches the homestretch, it’s fair to look ahead to the playoffs and in turn, Super Bowl LIX.
Some teams can begin thinking of what they need to do to reach the pinnacle of the football world, while others are still scratching and clawing their way through the field to try and get a chance at making it to New Orleans. With 15 weeks behind us and only three more weeks of games remaining until the playoffs, the contenders are beginning to separate themselves from the pack.
With that in mind, FanDuel Sportsbook has provided an updated look at the favorites for Super Bowl LIX via their odds. Check them out below, and see where your favorite team slots in, if they still have a shot at making it to the playoffs.
Buffalo Bills (+400)
The Buffalo Bills advanced to 11-3 this past weekend, defeating the Detroit Lions on the road inside Ford Field. It was a high-scoring affair, as the Bills needed 48 points to stave off the NFC power, but Josh Allen and company got the job done.
With the division locked up and the top seed in the AFC in question, the Bills will hope to continue their winning ways in Week 16. The New England Patriots are coming to town, so it’s certainly a winnable matchup.
Philadelphia Eagles (+480)
The Philadelphia Eagles were written off by many after a slow start to the season. Behind an incredible rushing attack and a stifling defense, they turned their season around, and they currently sit at 12-2 on the 2024 campaign.
Looking ahead, the Eagles can basically lock up the NFC East in Week 16. They’re facing the Commanders in Washington, and despite Jayden Daniels‘ best efforts, Philadelphia stifled the rookie in their first matchup.
Detroit Lions (+500)
The Detroit Lions’ winning streak came to an end this past weekend in an exhilarating game, as they came up short against the Buffalo Bills. Still, they’re 12-2 on the season, and they figure to be the team to beat in the NFC in the opinion of many.
The mission now becomes surviving an onslaught of injuries, and starting a new streak of wins. The first game on the docket for the Lions is this weekend’s clash with the Chicago Bears, a rematch from Thanksgiving Day.
Kansas City Chiefs (+600)
The Kansas City Chiefs have been far from dominant in 2024, but the reigning Super Bowl champions are 13-1 and looking for more over the rest of the season. If they can win out, they’ll secure the top seed in the AFC, and it’s no secret how big of an advantage that can be.
Looking ahead to Week 16, a showdown with the Houston Texans is on the docket. NFL fans might be more concerned with Patrick Mahomes health though, as he was a little banged up following their win this past weekend.
Baltimore Ravens (+800)
The Baltimore Ravens exploded on offense in East Rutherford, defeating the New York Giants by 21. Lamar Jackson passed for five touchdowns, as the Ravens advanced to 9-5 on the 2024 campaign.
For the Ravens’ sake, they’re hoping their offensive performance wasn’t a mirage. The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming to town in Week 16, and the AFC North might be on the line inside M&T Bank Stadium.
Minnesota Vikings (+1300)
The Minnesota Vikings advanced to 12-2 during their Monday Night Football showdown with the Chicago Bears. They raced out to a 13-0 halftime lead and never looked back, eventually winning by 18 when the final whistle blew.

Now, the Vikings will travel to Seattle to face a desperate Seahawks team in Week 16. They’re favored, but the Seahawks are sneaky. This certainly won’t be an easy task for Minnesota.
Green Bay Packers (+1300)
Sunday’s primetime showdown was a bit of a stinker due to the dominance of the Green Bay Packers. They were up 20-3 at halftime, and ended up defeating the Seattle Seahawks by a score of 30-13 on the road.
The Packers will have another primetime game in Week 16. The New Orleans Saints will travel to Green Bay for a Monday Night Football clash, as Jordan Love and company will hope to keep the good times rolling.
Houston Texans (+3000)
The Houston Texans have been a bit of a rollercoaster to follow in 2024. Still, they’re 9-5 and in the driver’s seat in the AFC South, and perhaps their beginning to hum after their latest win over the weekend, an eight-point victory over the Miami Dolphins.
Moving forward, the Texans have a chance to make a major statement in Week 16. They’re slated to face the Kansas City Chiefs, and with Patrick Mahomes a little banged up, they could certainly head into Arrowhead and leave victorious.
Pittsburgh Steelers (+3000)
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been one of the more impressive surprise teams in the NFL this season. However, they were given a bit of a harsh reality check this past weekend, as the Philadelphia Eagles delivered them their fourth loss of the season, winning by 14 points.
Perhaps they’ll be able to bounce back this weekend, but it won’t be easy. The Steelers have a Saturday trip to play their biggest rival, as the Baltimore Ravens are on the schedule for Week 16, a matchup that could decide the AFC North.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3300)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the class of the NFC South at the moment at 8-6. Perhaps that isn’t saying much, as the division hasn’t been the most impressive, but this past weekend showed what Tampa Bay can do when playing their best, as the Buccaneers defeated the Los Angeles Chargers by 23.
All the Buccaneers need to do is keep winning. They’ll have another shot at a win in Week 16, as Tampa Bay will travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

As you can tell, FanDuel Sportsbook has four to five teams above the rest of the league, but that’s where the opportunity to make some serious dough comes in. Time will tell how the odds change throughout the remainder of the regular season, but some teams are proving themselves worthy at the moment, with the NFL on the road to Super Bowl LIX.
