The stars were out in full force during Saturday’s NFL playoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans. Taylor Swift and Caitlin Clark were both in attendance, sharing a suite at Arrowhead Stadium for the AFC Divisional Round matchup.

Swift, of course, has been a mainstay at Chiefs games the last two seasons since she started dating Travis Kelce. She typically shares a suite with Kelce’s family, cheering him on while helping bring a new audience to the NFL.

Clark is also a noted Chiefs fan, growing up in Iowa before becoming the face of women’s basketball for the Hawkeyes. The No. 1 overall pick in last year’s WNBA Draft, she is also a noted “Swiftie” and got to watch Saturday’s playoff game alongside her after accepting an invitation while attending the Eras Tour in Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis Star’s Chloe Peterson.

Swift and Clark got to watch history during the Chiefs’ victory over the Texans on Saturday. Kelce set a new record for 100-yard games in the playoffs, recording his ninth before hauling in a touchdown in the third quarter to extend Kansas City’s lead. That led to quite the celebration in the suite from the two superstars.

Kelce finished the day with seven catches for 117 yards and a touchdown as Kansas City secured a spot in the AFC Championship once again. The Chiefs defeated the Texans 23-14 to do so, once again riding strong defense en route to a playoff victory.

Caitlin Clark previously confirmed she and Taylor Swift were building a friendship during her rookie season with the Indiana Fever. When Clark attended the Eras Tour at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Swift extended the invitation to attend a Chiefs game in Kansas City. She also said “Trav and I” want to see a Fever game sometime.

While at the concert, though, Clark was surprised at just how many fans noticed she was there. She thought people would be far more interested in Swift. Instead, they threw friendship bracelets at her and trying to take pictures.

“People are just going crazy that I’m there,” Clark told Time after being named the publication’s 2024 Athlete of the Year. “I thought people would be so in their own world, ready to see Taylor. And it was just completely the opposite.”
