Taylor Swift arrives at Metlife Stadium for Chiefs-Jets game
Following her prominent appearance last Sunday at the Kansas City Chiefs home game versus the Chicago Bears, pop superstar Taylor Swift has doubled down on taking up tight end Travis Kelce‘s invite to one of his football games.
Swift arrived at Metlife Stadium on Sunday to watch the Chiefs take on the New York Jets as the two teams will be squaring off in this weekend’s Sunday Night Football marquee matchup.
Swift pulled up to the stadium with some celebrity company, spotted entering the arena alongside Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in a must-see moment that can be seen below.
Swift took the NFL world by storm last weekend with her appearance in Arrowhead Stadium. The 12-time Grammy Award winner was invited to a Chiefs home game by Kelce after he attended one of her concerts in the same venue this summer.
Kelce attempted to give Swift his phone number in the process, which didn’t exactly go as he planned, but his approach worked as Swift was present next to his mother in a suite during the Chiefs dominant 41-10 win over the Bears.
Her presence at last week’s game added lighter fluid to the fire that was the dating rumors that surrounded the two, as they were spotted leaving Arrowhead Stadium alongside each other and spending time with one another following the game.
And while her attendance at consecutive Chiefs games will likely continue to add interest to America’s new favorite couple, it will likely continue adding even more interest to the NFL as a whole. The league seems to be a big fan of Swift’s new involvement with their games, which can be seen through their welcoming of her to Sunday night’s game below.

Swift’s initial appearance at last week’s game had a significant impact on Kelce, the Chiefs organization, and the NFL as a whole according to Front Office Sports.
For Kelce his jersey sales jumped up 400%, his Instagram following increased by 383,000 followers, and his podcast ‘New Heights’, which he hosts with his brother and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, now ranks No. 1 on Apple Podcasts.
Kansas City saw a 300% increase in ‘Chiefs’ searches on the web and a 300% increase in ticket sales on StubHub, marking them selling more tickets in a single day following Swift’s arrival in their stadium than they had since the start of the season.
And for the NFL, the Bears versus Chiefs game reached 24.3 million viewers, making it the most-watched game of Week 3, and the league also saw a 63% increase in female viewers between the ages of 18 and 49.
There’s no denying the impact of the Kelce and Swift effect, as business seems to be booming for all parties involved.
