Taylor Swift's parents to meet Travis Kelce's parents for first time during Chiefs-Eagles game

The Kansas City Chiefs’ primetime game against the Philadelphia Eagles is the perfect setting for a ‘Meet the Parents’ moment for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. According to Entertainment Tonight, the Grammy Award winner’s parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, will meet Donna and Ed Kelce for the first time at the Monday Night Football matchup this week.
With Travis Kelce suiting up to play against his brother, Jason, it’s the ideal environment for the two families to come together. Although Swift has very publicly met Donna Kelce on several occasions and Travis met Scott Swift during the bye week in Argentina, the two sets of parents have yet to meet.
As if Travis Kelce‘s bye week trip to Argentina to watch his girlfriend perform alongside the Grammy Award winner’s dad wasn’t a big enough sign of the couple’s blossoming relationship, Swift changed the lyrics to one of her songs to shoutout her new beau on Saturday night.
With Kelce watching from the VIP stands with her dad, Swift belted out the song Karma from the album Midnights, but not-so-inconspicuously changed the lyrics to mention the Kansas City star.
Taylor changes lyrics to ‘Karma’ for Travis Kelce
Instead of singing, “Karma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me,” she sang, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.” Naturally, fans were ready with the cameras and snagged a video of Kelce reacting to the sneaky lyric change. The 34-year-old tight end put his hands over his face as Swift’s dad clapped him on the back.

Cameras also captured what is probably by now the most-watched kiss of all time as Swift ran off the stage after the show and embraced Kelce backstage. The kiss itself set the stadium ablaze with screams and cheers.
Eagles fans were quick to notice that Swift’s dad, a noted Philadelphia fan, was wearing a Kansas City lanyard during the concert with Kelce. Eagles lineman Jason Kelce gave Scott a hard time about it on the New Heights podcast this week.
“What are we doing, Scott?” Jason retorted. “You’re gonna let this man’s devilish good looks and relationship with your daughter sway you from a lifetime of fandom, Scott? Ridiculous.”
Travis further explained, “I might have persuaded him at dinner the night before. When I met him.”
Swift has been a spectator at four Chiefs games this season, taking in the action from a suite alongside Kelce’s mom, Donna and Patrick Mahomes‘ wife, Brittany, among others. The two have been linked since early September. She attended her first Chiefs game as his guest on Sept. 24. The NFL hasn’t been the same since.
