The Las Vegas strip provided the perfect backdrop for the Kansas City Chiefs’ post-Super Bowl LVIII victory celebrations and of course, the crew wasn’t going anywhere without the team’s most notable fan, Taylor Swift. Cameras grabbed shots of Swift and Travis Kelce hitting various clubs after the Chiefs hoisted their third Lombardi Trophy in five years.

Fans even captured a clip of the star tight end kissing his pop star girlfriend as one of her own songs, ‘Love Story,’ played in the background. Swift was downing drinks with the guys like Tom Brady on a Super Bowl parade day.

At one point in the night, Kelce gave Swift his jacket to wear. The three-time Super Bowl champion made Allegiant Stadium shimmer with the black glittery suit he chose to wear before the game.

The CBS cameras, of which there were 165, had plenty of good reasons to pan to Swift in the crowd as Kelce led the Chiefs in receptions on Sunday night. After being nearly shut out in the first half, he made quite the impact in the second half and overtime. He finished the game with a team-leading nine receptions for 93 yards.

Kelce answers for in-game spat with Andy Reid

Following the 25-22 Super Bowl LVIII victory over the San Francisco 49ers, Kelce addressed the very heated in-game argument he had with head coach Andy Reid during the second quarter. Kelce, who yelled at Reid, bumping him in the process, opted to keep things in-house.

“Man, I’m gonna keep it between us. … I was just telling him how much I love him,” Kelce told Booger McFarland of ESPN.

With Kansas City driving into the red zone and threatening to score for the first time in the game, running back Isiah Pacheco fumbled the football and turned it over. Kelce was not on the field for the play, apparently drawing his ire. He was seen on the sidelines yelling at Reid, which happened after he had already thrown his helmet down in frustration.

Reid later gave his perspective on what happened between he and Kelce. The head coach chalked it up to his tight end’s competitive fire.

“He wasn’t looking. He didn’t know I was gonna go that far,” Reid said. “So, after that he came over gave me a hug. Said ‘sorry about that.’ But you know what? He just wants to be on the field, and he wants to play. And so, there’s nobody I get better than I get him. He’s a competitive kid and you know, he loves to play, and he makes me feel young. You know, but my balance is terrible Booger.”
