The Tennessee Titans will not be at full health on Sunday night on offense. But while some key contributors will be missing from the field, star wide receiver AJ Brown will not be one of them. Brown, who has been dealing with a knee injury, is expected to be active when the Titans take on the Los Angeles Rams.

Brown has played in seven games this season, bringing in 35 receptions on 54 targets for 509 yards and three touchdowns. The former Ole Miss star has been a great weapon over the last couple of years for the Titans. Entering Sunday night, Brown has 157 career receptions with 2,635 yards and 22 touchdowns. He has totaled 1,000 receiving yards in each of his two full NFL seasons.

The Titans seemingly built a powerhouse of an offense over the offseason by adding wide receiver Julio Jones to pair with quarterback Ryan Tannehill and running back Derrick Henry. But Jones and Brown have both struggled to stay on the field consistently this season. While Brown will be on the field on Sunday night, the NFL’s best running back will not be.

The Titans lost Derrick Henry to a major foot injury

The Titans will likely need to rely more heavily on the passing game through Tannehill and Brown moving forward. Derrick Henry will be out for the season after undergoing foot surgery. Henry has been the heart and soul of the Titans’ offense this year. He has 937 yards and ten touchdowns on the year. The next closest rusher entering the week was Browns running back Nick Chubb, who has 584 yards.

Without Henry, the Titans will involve running back Jeremy McNichols more on offense. McNichols only has seven carries on the season, but he has 21 receptions for 203 yards and a touchdown. Tennessee also signed legendary NFL running back Adrian Peterson.

Losing Henry will completely change the Titans’ identity on offense. Whether Brown, Jones, McNichols, or Peterson or all of them see more involvement for the Titans remains to be seen. But the offense will look drastically different. We will get a first look at the new Titans offense at 8:20 p.m. ET on Sunday night. Tennessee currently sits atop the AFC South.
