The Tennessee Titans have provided an update on the status of former Ole Miss wide receiver AJ Brown. According to NBC Sports, Brown was a full participant in Thursday’s practice after limited reps on Wednesday.

Brown has been dealing with a hamstring injury, which held him out in Week 4 matchup the New York Jets. The initial injury came early in Week 3’s win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Over the first three games of the season, Brown caught seven passes for 92 yards and a touchdown. He has not gotten off the to hot start many anticipated with veteran Julio Jones on the opposite side but is looking to get back on track when he returns to the field.

The Titans also provided updates on the status of players other than AJ Brown going into Sunday’s game. Wide receivers Julio Jones (hamstring) and Racey McMath (quad) missed practice on Thursday while Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (hamstring) was added to the injury report as a limited participant.

Bud Dupree (knee) was also a full participant in practice. The new outside linebacker played in two games before missing the next two. It appears he could make a return to the lineup soon.

Other players who missed practice on Thursday include starting left tackle Taylor Lewan (toe), punter Brett Kern (groin), offensive lineman Aaron Brewer (knee), linebacker Jayon Brown (knee), tight end Tommy Hudson (ankle). Offensive tackle Ty Sambrailo (foot) was also added to the injury report as a limited participant in practice.

AJ Brown on Ryan Tannehill

Tennessee Titans receiver A.J. Brown believes he and quarterback Ryan Tannehill are underrated. Brown told NFL.com’s Inside Training Camp that Tannehill is a top 10 quarterback that can take the Titans to a Super Bowl.

“He’s not in the top-10 talk, or whatever; to me, it’s nonsense,” Brown said. “Many games we came back, we fought back, two minutes. Derrick (Henry) doesn’t get the ball every play. Somebody’s got to throw us the ball and he’s very accurate. Anybody who’s sleeping on him is nonsense. But he doesn’t really care about that stuff and neither do we. I think his head is in a good place.”

Ryan Tannehill led Tennessee to an 11-5 record this past season, but lost in the Wild Card to Baltimore. They added Julio Jones in the offseason to give the passing attack another weapon alongside Brown. The Titans made an appearance in the AFC Championship the year prior, losing to eventual champion Kansas City.
