Tennessee Titans trade Kevin Byard to Philadelphia Eagles
The Titans and Eagles have agreed to a trade. All-Pro defensive back Kevin Byard is heading to Philadelphia while Tennessee will receive fifth- and sixth-round selections in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Titans will also get safety Terrell Edmunds.
Dianna Russini of The Athletic was one of multiple reporters to tweet out the news. The Eagles currently sit with a 6-1 record while the Titans are 2-4.
Byard is a two-time All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection. He had spent his entire career with the Titans (beginning in 2016) until Monday’s news broke.
Edmunds is in his sixth NFL season. He spent the first five years with the Pittsburgh Steelers before joining the Eagles in the offseason.

The move from Philadelphia shows that it is making a serious push to try and win the Super Bowl this year. The Eagles came incredibly close about doing that a season ago, but fell short to the Chiefs.
Through six games this year, Byard has totaled 47 tackles and recovered a fumble. For his career, the defensive back has piled up 674 tackles, 63 passes defended and 27 interceptions.
Edmunds has totaled 438 stops, 26 passes defended and five interceptions during his time in the league.
