No. 5 Tennessee travels to Lexington for a mid-week matchup against the No. 15 Kentucky Wildcats inside Rupp Arena on Tuesday night.

This is the second time the two programs have met during the regular season. The first meeting between the two programs took place on Jan. 28, where the Wildcats earned a 78-73 win over the Volunteers in Knoxville.

On Monday, Kentucky head coach Mark Pope revealed that standout guard Jaxson Robinson will likely be unavailable for the Wildcats on Tuesday after injuring himself at practice on Friday. He averages 13.3 points per game as Kentucky’s second-leading scorer.

He was key in Kentucky’s win over the Vols in Knoxville, scoring 17 points and draining four 3-pointers while playing 35 minutes for the Wildcats.

For Tennessee, they were led by Igor Milicic Jr.’s 19 points and nine rebounds. He was responsible for four of Tennessee’s 11 3-point baskets during their first meeting. He was joined by a combined 28 points from Zakai Zeigler and Chaz Lanier.

The Vols haven’t lost a game since falling to the Wildcats. They’ve since defeated Florida and Missouri, both ranked opponents, as well as Oklahoma on the road. For Kentucky, they’re 1-2 in their last three games.
