The Denver Broncos have a cringeworthy new slogan that might beat 'Let's Ride'

After a year of being clowned for their “Let’s Ride” slogan, the Denver Broncos have somehow downgraded.
According to Mike Klis of 9News, the Broncos have updated their slogan that Russell Wilson beat like a dead horse last season, and that’s not slang for the way Denver looked while on the field. Klis shared a photo to Twitter of offensive lineman Ben Powers rocking a shirt with the Broncos new slogan, “Uncommon.”
Really, that’s it. If you don’t want to take my word for it, check out Klis’ tweet below, where Powers is seen in the flesh with the shirt.
At least Powers tried to make sense of it, giving a heartfelt explanation for the Broncos’ replacement for “Let’s Ride.”
“It means winning football in the National Football League is ‘uncommon.’ It’s hard to do,” explained Powers, via Klis. “It’s why there’s not a lot of winners. There’s only one Super Bowl champ.”
Nobody can think of any way “Uncommon” can backfire for the Broncos, right? There’s only about a couple hundred jokes to be made at Denver’s expense.
Regardless, it’s not the slogan that makes the team, it’s the team that makes the slogan. Perhaps Russell Wilson and the Broncos can make their new one work if they have a bounce-back season and win some games in 2023.

If they’re unable to do so, it won’t be a fun season for Denver once again. That’s not an uncommon thought.
More on Denver Broncos, 2023 NFL Season
Moreover, the Denver Broncos are entering the 2023 NFL season with big expectations following the hiring of former New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton.
Payton left his job at FOX Sports to return to the sidelines with the Broncos, who are in need of some good coaching following the disaster that was Nathaniel Hackett. Denver even traded a first rounder for Payton, that’s how much they believe in their coach.
Hopefully Payton will be able to get the most out of Wilson if Denver has any shot at competing. The former Pro Bowl quarterback was a shell of himself with the Broncos, and that’s going to need to change to convince Denver fans that it wasn’t the most lopsided trade of all time.
It’s going to take a lot more than a new slogan, but the Broncos could be on the upswing in 2023. Time will tell, but it’ll mostly hinge on Russell Wilson and Sean Payton.
