Tim Tebow, Demi-Leigh announce planned gender reveal for new baby

Former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow and his wife, Demi-Leigh Tebow, are expecting a baby. And they are planning to make a gender reveal on Wednesday.
Demi-Leigh announced the plans to reveal the baby’s gender on Twitter on Tuesday, even including a poll for fans and followers to vote on which gender they think the baby will be.
With thousands of Florida Gators fans anxiously awaiting exactly that news, the poll unsurprisingly had a male slant to it early on. Many are hoping for the next Tim Tebow on the gridiron.
About two hours in on the poll, “Boy” had collected 60.6% of the votes, while “Girl” had amassed 39.4%. You can view the updated poll results below.
We’ll have to wait until Wednesday to find out the gender of Tim Tebow’s firstborn, of course. Demi-Leigh did not list a time for the announcement, though she has typically revealed baby news on her social media accounts.
The Tebows previously announced their pregnancy on Jan. 14 with posts on Instagram and Twitter.
As for the relationship itself, Tim Tebow announced his engagement to Miss Universe 2017 and South African model Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters on Jan. 10, 2019. The couple was married a year later, on Jan. 20, 2020.
Five years later, they’re now expecting and about to host a gender reveal.
More on Tim Tebow’s career
Now in sports broadcasting, Tim Tebow had a legendary career in college football. He followed that up with a short stint in the NFL after the Denver Broncos selected him in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
But Tebow’s days with the Florida Gators were the stuff of legend.
Tebow became the first sophomore to ever win the Heisman Trophy when he did so in 2007. He did it in a season sandwiched by national championships he helped power the Gators to.
