As part of the new media partnership, TNT Sports and Max are introducing a new NASCAR Driver Cam and Audio Experience for the 2025 season. Starting this weekend at Bowman Gray Stadium, race fans can take in the sport like never before.

TNT Sports and Max are calling this an “ultimate motorsports fan experience” and it will be for all 38 races of the NASCAR Cup Series season. 1080p in-car camera for every driver with synced up scanner team radios, ambient car noise, multiview, integrated leaderboard, telemetry data, replays, and much more.

This is a next-level experience for watching NASCAR races. This is exactly what the sport needs to give diehard fans and new viewers the best race experience from home. Tune in to your favorite driver and take in all of the noise, radio chatter, and data that you can consume.

Fans can access the NASCAR Driver Cam through the B/R Sports section on Max. So, another streaming option for fans out there.

The NASCAR Driver Cam is going to give fans a great look into the sport. There will be individual cam selections as well as two pre-set multiview options with four drivers each. Those will be based on the “most compelling matchups and storylines” of the week.

Fans will be able to vote on a multiview option via B/R Racing’s X and Instagram accounts as well each week. That should provide a new element of fun and fan engagement for the 2025 season.

NASCAR Driver Cam puts Cup Series in modern era

In recent years, the NFL has revolutionized the way fans watch games. Prime Video has taken stats and the viewing experience to another level for Thursday Night Football. Then there are things like Red Zone and the ManningCast that give fans options.

Now, the NASCAR Driver Cam gives Cup Series fans options. While watching on FOX and NBC is fine, there is a certain breed of motorsports fan that doesn’t like it. They want to hear the radio. When their favorite driver gets mad, they want to know what he’s saying.

There’s a reason why radio headsets are everywhere at races. When you immerse yourself in the sport, those small details matter. This is such a great move from NASCAR and TNT Sports/Max as a new media partner. It makes the Cup Series a modern sport.

Unfortunately, this will move driver cams away from the NASCAR App. Scanner audio will still be available to premium subscribers on the app, but no visual.

Everyone wants to be on the inside now. They want to feel like they’re watching the big game or race right at home. What’s better than watching through the front windshield of a Cup car in the draft at Daytona? Add in listening to Ryan Blaney’s radio, and that’s enough entertainment for anybody.
