We finally know who Dale Earnhardt Jr. will team up with in the broadcast booth for TNT Sports’ five-race slate next summer. Earnhardt will be joined by Adam Alexander and his buddy and former crew chief, Steve Letarte in the 2025 NASCAR season.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. has a deal with both TNT Sports and Amazon Prime Video for 2025 for the 10 summer races. Now we know who his broadcasting partners are. This should be exciting for fans looking forward to next summer.

Having Alexander and Letarte on board is great. These three are going to bring entertaining, knowledgeable, and important commentary to the races next year.

TNT Sports made the announcement this afternoon about the NASCAR booth. I can’t believe we’re going to see the Cup Series on TNT again.

As for Amazon Prime Video, NASCAR is headed the way of Thursday Night Football now. Streaming will open up the door to many new viewers, but it may also result in a loss of overall viewership. It is hard to tell at this point.

A lot of folks are excited about the TNT Sports deal with NASCAR. All of this is just exciting. New broadcast partners means we could see a new look on the sport that NBC and FOX aren’t bringing at the moment.

Not to mention, the nostalgia.

“It’s so nostalgic to see TNT Sports return to NASCAR,” Dale Jr. said in a press release. “I enjoyed watching their coverage back in the day. I’m looking forward to being a part of the team and working with Adam (Alexander) and (Steve) Letarte.”

Things are changing, and I would argue for the better, in the sport.

TNT resumes NASCAR coverage in 2025

Now, it isn’t ESPN, but TNT Sports being involved in NASCAR again is a big deal. The sport is looking for more, not fewer partners. On top of the races being on TNT, practice and qualifying will be aired on truTV and streaming on Max for the second half of the season.

The expansion of network partners makes things a little more confusing. However, we know that we are going to get almost every single practice and qualifying session on truTV and Max or on Amazon Prime Video (first half) during the season. FOX will carry the practice and qualifying for the Clash, Daytona 500, and All-Star Race.

Perhaps more important than the networks, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is back in the booth. He was sorely missed this season as his deal with NBC came to an end with no renewal. It didn’t take long for TNT and Amazon to snatch him up, though.
