Todd McShay releases final mock draft with QB trade, bonus picks ahead of 2025 NFL Draft

NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay released his final mock draft ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft kicking off Thursday night in Green Bay. His 4.0 version features some trades and late risers.
Of course, how the draft ends up is anyone’s guess. McShay, who’s been at this a long time, will do his best to get them all right!
Without further ado, let’s dive into McShay’s final mock draft as we are 24-ish hours away. Fasten your seatbelts!
1. Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, QB – Miami
Ward is the consensus top selection in all mock drafts at this point, going to the Titans, including McShay’s. Good luck trying to predict someone else because it would be shocking.
The former Miami quarterback had his best season in college with the Hurricanes and progressively got better each season. Welcome to Nashville.
2. Cleveland Browns: Travis Hunter, WR/CB – Colorado

Hunter seems to be the consensus No. 2 pick according to most mock drafts at this point after some questions of what Cleveland wanted to do. McShay is in that crew as well, putting the Heisman Trophy winner to Brown.
Most think Hunter will play corner in the NFL and sprinkle in at wide receiver. NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah thinks the opposite, so it’ll truly be interesting to see how Hunter adapts to his role in the pros.
3. New York Giants: Abdul Carter, EDGE – Penn State
Carter is an absolute menace off the edge and can also play multiple positions on defense. The Giants might be in more win-now mode, causing them to take a quarterback later. Well, spoiler alert, McShay has a surprise for you.
So with that, don’t miss Carter. Otherwise, he’ll go right to the New England Patriots. Carter is the next version of Micah Parsons.
4. New England Patriots: Will Campbell, OT – LSU
McShay goes with offensive line help for the Patriots, putting Campbell in New England. Drake Maye needs some protection and it seems like Mike Vrabel will pick Campbell at this rate.
If you want to build toughness in the team, it starts with a guy like Campbell, who was widely considered the best offensive lineman in the class for a while. Seems like a match made in heaven.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Ashton Jeanty, RB – Boise State

The Jaguars were linked to Mason Graham for a long time, more on him later, but McShay is going with Jeanty here. Jacksonville will get some star power behind Trevor Lawrence and give them quite the running back.
Jeanty was the Heisman runner up in 2024 and nearly averaged a first down per carry throughout the season. He’ll add a new dimension to the Jaguars offense.
6. Las Vegas Raiders: Kelvin Banks Jr., OT – Texas
The Raiders opt for offensive line help and a franchise stalwart in Banks. McShay likes this for Geno Smith’s protection in 2025.
What’s surprising is, McShay is one of the few that still rank Banks above Missouri’s Armand Membou, but the latter won’t last that much longer. Banks can play right tackle or guard on either side immediately and then move to left tackle.

7. New York Jets: Jalon Walker, EDGE – Georgia
The Jets have numerous options here, but McShay will go defense. Walker, who was widely projected to go to the Panthers at No. 8, goes one pick earlier.
Expect an instant impact from Walker once he steps on the field for the Jets. New York can go offense here, such as Tyler Warren, but you might as well add another playmaker to that young defense.
8. Carolina Panthers: Walter Nolen, DT – Ole Miss

Nolen has soared up draft boards and McShay is predicting a top 10 selection Thursday night. The Ole Miss defensive lineman was projected in the middle of the first round, but it might be hard to wait for him now.
Right now, the Panthers snag him with the eighth pick. But we can guess this won’t rule out other teams looking to maybe trade up and see if they can grab Nolen instead.
9. New Orleans Saints: Mykel Williams, EDGE – Georgia
Despite Derek Carr’s uncertain future, at least in 2025, Schrager does not go quarterback here. Instead, Williams is the pick, bolstering the Saints’ defense.
As McShay put it, Williams is the replacement for Cameron Jordan down the line, maybe as soon as 2026 with Williams’ skill. An elite defender and franchise stalwart? Yeah that sounds good.
10. Chicago Bears: Mason Graham, DT – Michigan
Here’s where Graham goes after being mocked to the Jaguars so much this offseason. McShay has him staying in the top 10 though, giving the Bears a menace on defense.
Graham is an instant impact type of player, who steadily improved at Michigan each year. He was a big defensive line anchor to Michigan’s national title team in 2023.
