Todd McShay had some interesting things to say about Shedeur Sanders after talking to two NFL teams who are looking to draft a quarterback. On The McShay Show, McShay revealed what the two teams drafting in the top 10 said about Sanders after meeting with him.

“The two people that I spoke to were in meetings and had these individual meetings that I just laid out to you what they are, who’s in there and why they’re important — teams in the top 10 drafting that need a quarterback,” McShay said. “The two people that I spoke to in these positions left the meeting feeling like Shedeur Sanders was not overly concerned with what they thought of him. They had a 15-minute meeting with them, and when they were done, they both said in different ways, different words, that they did not feel like Shedeur Sanders cared all that much about what that organization thought of him.”

While that might sound very bad, McShay also said that Sanders didn’t say anything negative or disrespectful during the meetings with the NFL teams. “There was no bad behavior, here was nothing disrespectful said or done,” McShay stated.

“There was no kind of altercation. …I’m not trying to overblow this to try to get clicks. This is not a viral moment. I don’t care about the attention this gets, it’s just our job to relay the information from the intel we are getting from people that are important and make decisions or part of the decisions process from the teams that are looking at drafting a quarterback and have a high draft pick.”

What McShay said about Shedeur Sanders is similar to what NFL insider Josina Anderson said on Monday. Anderson said an anonymous NFL assistant coach reportedly called Sanderson “brash” and “arrogant” following a team interview during the NFL Scouting Combine.

Sanders is expected to be selected in the top 10 of this year’s NFL Draft. He spent the last two seasons at Colorado and was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year in 2024 after throwing for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns in 13 games.
