Tom Brady shares heartfelt message to Bill Belichick
Tom Brady and Bill Belichick represented the best pairing of a quarterback and coach probably in NFL history. And hours after Belichick parted ways with the Patriots, Brady paid tribute.
Brady used Instagram for his message. And he picked out a photo of the two of them on the sideline, celebrating one of their many victories. These two won six Super Bowls together.
“I’m incredibly grateful to have played for the best coach in the history of the NFL,” Tom Brady said of Bill Belichick.
Brady continued with his message. “He was a great leader for the organization, and for all of the players who played for him. We accomplished some amazing things over a long period of time, many of which will be hard to replicate. he worked every day to help us achieve the ultimate goal, in the ultimate team sport. And, although we were successful, some of the greatest lessons I learned were in the moments where we faced the most challenging adversities. He set the tone for the organization to never falter in the face of adversity, and to do what we could do, and what was in our control, which was to go out and DO OUR JOB.”

Brady added: “I could never have been the player I was without you Coach Belichick. I am forever grateful. And I wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose next.”
After Tom Brady left, Bill Belichick struggled to find a QB
The Patriots announced early Thursday that Belichick no longer was their head coach. Owner Robert Craft called it an “amicable breakup.” Belichick coached the Patriots for 24 seasons. His best years were with Brady. They won six Super Bowls together. Brady left New England at the end of the 2019 season. He signed with the Bucs and led them to a Super Bowl title, his seventh, the very next season.
The Patriots hired Belichick in early 2000. And in his first draft, he used a sixth-round pick to select Brady, the former Michigan star. The two won their first Super Bowl title the next season. Making the playoffs was a given and fans expected Super Bowls. However, once Brady left, the Patriots missed the playoffs in three out of four years, including the last two seasons.
