Tom Brady shares NSFW message to teams who passed on him in free agency

The chip on the shoulder of Tom Brady would have to be surgically removed for it to go away. The No. 199 overall pick of the 2000 NFL Draft has had to scratch and claw for his success in the NFL, but it’s his drive that’s brought him seven Super Bowl rings.
Over recent months, Brady has opened up about the journey during the documentary series Man In The Arena. With an episode detailing the end of his time with the New England Patriots and the beginning of Brady joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, some fiery quotes are coming to light.
Famously, Brady didn’t have a robust market when he hit free agency prior to signing with the Buccaneers. Instead of a myriad of teams looking to upgrade at quarterback by signing Brady, barely a handful of franchises had interest.
Of course, that rubbed the star quarterback the wrong way — but led to one of his best quotes.
“If you’re another team and you’re not interested in having me as your quarterback, like what the f— is wrong with you?” questioned Brady.
Of course, Brady didn’t name any franchises, but it’s a fair question why most teams weren’t more interested in the former Michigan quarterback. Now, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren’t complaining — continuing to reap the benefits of having Tom Brady as their quarterback.
Tom Brady addresses the possibility of playing until he’s 50
Continuing, Brady continues to evade father time. At 45 years old, the seven-time Super Bowl champion is preparing for another year after a brief post-season retirement. As he continues his rollout of off-the-field projects, like his BRADY brand, Brady spoke to Complex reporter Mike Destefano about his future and whether he could play to age 50.
“I do think I could play till 50,” Brady started. “But I don’t think I will just because I know the commitment that it takes. I know the commitment that it takes for me at 44 and 45. I worked out today and it’s a big commitment and I’m away from my 14-year-old son and my 12-year-old son and my nine-year-old daughter.”

With three children in the house, and one about to enter high school, the Bucs quarterback is intent on being able to attend their events and games. His oldest son, Jack, goes to school in New York City.
“If I played till 50, I’d miss a lot of really important things in his life,” Brady said. “And I don’t wanna do that. I wanna be there for him. I wanna be there for my wife. She has goals and ambitions. I’ve really pushed the limits. Personally, I’ve pushed the limits with a lot of people that have been supportive of me over the years. I’ve pushed the limits with my body physically. Emotionally things change over a period of time… So I’m gonna enjoy this year. I don’t know what’s gonna happen beyond this year.”
The oldest player in NFL history, George Blanda, played his last game at 48 in 1975. Brady has already moved into the top 10 on that list.
Prior to announcing his retirement, Tom Brady was allegedly interested in going to the Miami Dolphins and becoming part of the ownership team. Reports have also suggested the team was going to bring in retired Saints coach Sean Peyton.
