Today, the Rose Bowl will determine if Oregon or Ohio State will advance to the semi-finals of the CFP. Toni Breidinger is part of the festivities. The NASCAR star is taking part in the Rose Parade and representing stock car racing at one of the biggest college football games of the year.

This year, Toni Breidinger is taking on the full NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule. She will race the No. 5 Toyota Tundra for Tricon Garage.

Of course, Breidinger is seemingly always on the move. Whether on the race track or on the Pink Carpet for Victoria’s Secret, she keeps a busy schedule. This time her schedule has landed her back in her home state of California as part of the pregame celebrations in Pasadena.

A couple of years ago, Rajah Caruth and Richard Petty represented NASCAR in the parade. This time, it’s Toni and it looks like she has a pretty nice seat in a convertible of some kind. Let her be behind the wheel and I’m sure the parade will move a lot quicker.

A rookie campaign waits for the 25-year-old racer. Tricon Garage has put up some of the best trucks in the series in the last couple of years. With Corey Heim anchoring the organization once again, there will be a lot to learn for Breidinger.

While it isn’t a huge thing, it’s nice to see NASCAR have a representative at an event like this. NASCAR has to branch out. It has to remind people that it is still around, the racing is still fantastic, and there is a new crop of young talent for fans to get attached to.

Toni Breidinger preparing for 2025 season

Tricon Garage is one of the best organizations in the Truck Series. That does not mean they are the Hendrick or Joe Gibbs of the Truck Series. What it does mean is when they are able to land the right talent, their equipment is good enough to take a driver to their full potential.

Despite a slightly disappointing ARCA season in 2024, Toni Breidinger has earned her place. She replaces Dean Thompson in the No. 5 truck. In 2024, Thompson did not earn a single top-5 finish. Although he had six top-10s. He was good enough to finish 16th in points.

Then again, Thompson had 15 DNFs in his two seasons at Tricon. Without seeing Breidinger hit the track yet, it feels like this is a lateral move or it could end up being an improvement for Tricon. Breidinger definitely brings sponsorship, eyeballs, and notoriety that Thompson does not bring.

With millions of followers on social media, Toni Breidinger has a lot of influence compared to her peers. If she isn’t the Most Popular Driver for the Truck Series in 2025, it will be shocking. Let’s hope she puts up the performances she needs.
