Have you ever wanted to compete against a NASCAR legend like Tony Stewart? Or perhaps a rising Indy NXT star in Jamie Chadwick? Well, if you play Forza Motorsport, you are going to get your chance.

Forza Motorsport is teaming up with Mobil 1 for an event unlike any other. Tony Stewart and Jamie Chadwick are both involved in the event. Fans and gamers are going to get a chance to compete against Smoke and Chadwick on the virtual Maple Valley, in-game track.

The track, designed for the game, sponsored by Mobil 1, covers 4.81 kilometers (2.98 miles) in a United States-themed venue. Starting today, July 25 through August 7, you can try to beat Stewart’s best time on the track. He went around the course in a 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302, and I’m sure he got every tenth of a second out of it he could.

Mobil 1 has invested a lot into their 50th anniversary celebration. They have extended their partnership with NASCAR, which includes being the title sponsor of Victory Lane at NASCAR-owned tracks. They have had a number of special paint schemes in 2024.

Jamie Chadwick chose a 1967 Corvette as her ride. Fans are going to have a chance to race Chadwick between August 29 to September 11.

While Tony Stewart and Chadwick are the big names involved, there is more. Mobil 1 is doing a ton of special social media content throughout this event. Stewart’s wife and champion NHRA racer, Leah Pruett will be hosting a lot of that content.

So, keep an eye out online. After all, you don’t get to compete against a legend and a real up-and-comer like this. Can you best one of America’s greatest racers? What about a rising star with Andretti? Find out on Forza Motorsport.

Tony Stewart leaving the sport of NASCAR

While it sounds like Tony Stewart is keeping busy with starting a family, NHRA, and events with Mobil 1 – there is something melancholy about this year. After being such a fixture in NASCAR for the better part of two decades, Stewart is calling it a career.

Stewart-Haas Racing will close later this year. Once the season is over, so is SHR. One charter is being retained by Gene Haas to form Haas Factory Team in 2025. That team will field one Cup car with Cole Custer behind the wheel, and two Xfinity cars with drivers to be announced.

When a team leaves the sport, it is tough. There are employees, fans, and so many others invested in these organizations. When it happens to be a former three-time champion and legend like Stewart, it makes the whole thing feel even more like a loss.

Tony Stewart is working on a lot of other things. Between his drag racing, team ownership, track ownership at Eldora, and all those other extras, Smoke has a full schedule. He also spends plenty of money. While he’s leaving NASCAR as an owner, what he accomplished can never be taken away.
