This weekend for the Verizon 200 at the Brickyard, the big story has to be all of the international road course ringers. NASCAR has never seemed so, global, before. Seven different countries will be represented in the Cup Series field, and that includes some of our schemes of the week.

Shane van Gisbergen is coming back to the Cup Series, as well as Supercars driver Brodie Kostecki. Kamui Kobayashi is driving for 23XI Racing in the No. 67 car. We will also see the return of Jenson Button in the No. 15 while Mike Rockenfeller takes over in the No. 42 car following Noah Gragson’s departure from LEGACY M.C.

There are some great looks from Cup Series regulars as well in the field. For the Verizon 200 at the Brickyard, we’ve picked a little bit of everything from Ford to Chevy to Toyota.

Top paint schemes for Verizon 200

Kevin Harvick – Mobil 1 Ford
Another great Kevin Harvick look and it is no coincidence that it is a Mobil 1 scheme. This is a Tony Stewart tribute and it looks awesome. One last ride at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It isn’t the 400 but the Verizon 200 will still be a special race for The Closer.

Brodie Kostecki – Mobile X Chevy
Kostecki is going to join his Supercars peer, SVG, for the Verizon 200. Kostecki used to race in the ARCA Menards Series East and has some top-10 finishes to his record. So, NASCAR isn’t completely foreign to the Aussie. He just so happens to have an electric-looking No. 33 Mobile X Chevy.

Ryan Preece – Purdue University Ford
Another Stewart-Haas Racing design. This time, Purdue University in Indianapolis is hopping on board with Ryan Preece. The new campus has been investing plenty in motorsports with sponsorship in the SRX Series as well. This time for the Indy Road Course they join up with the Cup Series. Boilermakers will love this look.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – Kroger/Frosted Flakes Chevy
One of my favorite parts about Stenhouse Jr.’s Kroger partnership are all of the other brands that join. This week it is a NASCAR classic for the Daytona 500 champion. Frosted Flakes and Tony the Tiger join the 47 team for Indy. That tiger always looks good on a race car.

Kamui Kobayashi – Toyota Genuine Parts Toyota
This is the driver I’m most excited about. We know SVG is great, but what can Kobayashi accomplish on the Indy Road Course? I think that we could see a top-10 from the No. 67 car, but then again, NASCAR is a lot different from endurance racing. Great look, regardless of where it is on the track.
