The second round of the NASCAR Playoffs heads to Talladega this weekend and the Yellawood 500 has plenty of great schemes. Get ready for some Talladega Nights and other fun looks this Sunday.

Going to just warn you now, this is a Ford-filled list. Specifically, Stewart-Haas Racing. They are likely the best organization on a regular basis when it comes to schemes and this weekend is no different.

This is the time of the week when I put all of those history classes analyzing paintings and political cartoons to good use. So, let’s get into the best designs for the Yellawood 500.

Top-5 Yellawood 500 paint schemes

Kevin Harvick – Busch Light Camo Ford
Hunting season, folks! That means early mornings in the stand and camo Busch Light cans. Kevin Harvick is back once again with one of the best schemes of the Yellawood 500 weekend. He has had his name on this list perhaps more than anyone else. Really well-executed camo scheme with the Stewart-Haas blue, 9.5/10.

Chase Briscoe – Old Spice Ford
Stewart-Haas Racing gets all of the love this week because they know how to have fun. Whether that is beer or bringing Talladega Nights to life with Chase Briscoe and Ryan Preece. We’ll get to Preece later, but this Cal Naughton Jr. scheme is immaculate. 10/10.

Riley Herbst – Beast Unleashed White Haze Ford
Here’s one for you Monster Energy fans! Riley Herbst is back in the No. 36 for Front Row Motorsports (the car was spotted at the SHR shop though, likely prepared there). A white Monster scheme for the Yellawood 500? That never happens and for that very reason, this car belongs on this list. Would have liked to see Tyler Reddick get this, but Herbst is a strong choice, too. 9/10.

Ryan Preece – Wonder Bread Ford
You can’t have your Shake without a little bit of Bake. Preece is in the Wonder Bread Ford this week as Ricky Bobby. He’s had two fairly violent wrecks at Talladega and Daytona this season, let’s hope he keeps it on the track and off the grass this weekend. 10/10 perfect recreation.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – Sara Lee Artesano Bread Chevy
Another bread sponsor for the Yellawood 500, Stenhouse Jr. is coming to Talladega with Sara Lee. His car is made to look like a loaf of bread and it does just that. You can even see the slices in the loaf. I’m not sure how it will look on the track, but standing still it is pretty funny. 8/10 for creativity.
