Trackhouse Racing announces multi-year driver agreement with rising star Connor Zilisch
Trackhouse Racing is looking into the future with a new signing. Connor Zilisch is now a Trackhouse driver for 2024 and 2025. This deal will put Zilisch in the CARS Tour, ARCA Menards Series, and in the NASCAR Truck, and Xfinity Series throughout the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
Another driver at Trackhouse? Yes. Connor Zilisch is one of the more promising prospects. He’s a Chevy driver already, and now he’s ready to get to work with Trackhouse Racing.
On top of CARS, ARCA, and Xfinity action, Zilisch is going to compete in IMSA events as well as Trans Am races. Sounds like he’s getting a full gamut to prepare him for whatever is to come in the future.
Zilisch is just 17 but will turn 18 in July which means he can then race on all tracks, even superspeedways.
Justin Marks, co-owner of Trackhouse Racing is more than happy to bring Connor to The House.
“I have watched Connor grow from a youngster racing go-karts at the Trackhouse Motorplex to an up-close seat as he beat all of us in the Trans Am race at VIR [Virginia International Raceway] a few months ago,” Marks said in a release.
“This kid is an amazing talent who we wanted to be a part of the Trackhouse family. We are going to go slow with Connor and make sure he’s fully prepared as he advances in what we believe will be a long racing career.”
Connor Zilisch is a road course driver who can also mix it up on the ovals. In what seems to be the road course revolution in NASCAR, this signing makes perfect sense for Trackhouse Racing.

Trackhouse Racing staying one step ahead at all times
Just for those keeping count at home, Trackhouse has five drivers under contract now. Daniel Suárez and Ross Chastain in the 99 and 1 cars. Zane Smith in the 71 car over at Spire Motorsports (for now). Shane van Gisbergen, who is racing full-time in the Xfinity Series as well as select Cup Races – he’s in a bunch of cars, specifically at Kaulig.
Now, Connor Zilisch is added to the roster. This is clearly a project driver, someone Justin Marks and Trackhouse see as a development deal. He might work out, he might not. Perhaps Zilisch moves on and then comes back to Trackhouse at a later date.
What this shows is that Trackhouse is still at the forefront of everything in NASCAR. They are doing it their own way and that means signing a young talent like Zilisch. He isn’t the usual NASCAR prospect, but Trackhouse isn’t the usual NASCAR team.
“This is a dream come true,” said Zilisch. “I can’t thank Justin (Marks) and everyone at Trackhouse Racing enough for giving me this opportunity. It has been a pleasure to spend the last two years racing with Chevrolet and I am thrilled to extend that relationship. I have a lot to learn, but I don’t think there is a better place for me to learn than with Trackhouse Racing.”
2024 is shaping up to be the year of Trackhouse Racing.
