Tracy Morgan speaks out after Knicks courtside vomiting incident, reveals cause of illness

Tracy Morgan’s medical emergency during the New York Knicks game on Monday night was caused by food poisoning. The comedian/actor shared the news in an Instagram post on Tuesday morning.
“Thank you for all your concern!” he said while sharing a photo of him in a hospital bed. “I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning. Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!”
Morgan jokingly added, “More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs.”
It’s not clear what Morgan ate to cause his illness, but the important thing is he’s going to be okay. During the game, Tracy Morgan was seen throwing up repeatedly while sitting in his courtside chair. The was pushed off the court in a wheelchair, and the game was delayed.
When will Tracy Morgan return to Madison Square Garden?
A Madison Square Garden representative told TMZ Sports, “We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside.” The next time the Knicks play at Madison Square Garden will be on Saturday, Mar. 22, so everyone will be keeping an eye out for Morgan’s return.

This is not the first time Tracy Morgan has dealt with a serious health issue. In 2014, the Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock star was in a car crash. He was in critical condition after breaking his leg and was in a coma for two weeks.
“Today is 10 years since our fateful accident, and I want to say to everyone who was in the van with me that night I Love you, and we miss you, Uncle Jimmy Mac and God bless your family,” Morgan told PEOPLE last year. “And to the driver that night and his family, me and my comrades forgive you.”
Along with attending Knicks games, Morgan is getting ready to work on an untitled comedy pilot with Tina Fey. The 56-year-old will star in the upcoming NBC show, playing a disgraced football player looking to rehabilitate his image.
