Colorado two-way superstar and newly-crowned Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter has signed with rapper Lil Wayne‘s sports agency, Young Money APAA Sports, according to Front Office Sports.

Hunter is believed to have wrapped up his collegiate career following Saturday’s Alamo Bowl, a 36-14 loss to BYU, and is widely projected to be the top overall player and a likely top-five pick in April’s 2025 NFL Draft.

Hunter will be one of the highest-profile clients represented by Young Money, which has on-field representation divisions across the NFL, NBA, soccer and collegiate sports, according to FOS.

In addition to the Heisman Trophy, Hunter also won the Biletnikoff Award given to college football’s top receiver after hauling in 96 receptions for 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, as well as the Bednarik Award as college football’s best defensive player after hauling in four interceptions and 10 pass breakups to go along with 36 tackles.

ESPN NFL Draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. has routinely featured Hunter atop his Big Board Top 25 player rankings, though most draft prognosticators expect Colorado teammate and quarterback Shedeur Sanders or Miami quarterback and Heisman finalist Cam Ward to be taken at No. 1 overall, due in large part to the inherent value of their position.

Young Money also represents new Buffaloes defensive lineman Jeheim Oatis, a former five-star transfer from Alabama, as well as new Duke quarterback Darian Mensah, who reportedly signed an $8 million NIL deal after transferring from Tulane, according to CBS Sports.

Travis Hunter shares hilarious moment with Lil Wayne at Heisman Trophy ceremony

Travis Hunter gave a shoutout to Lil Wayne after winning the Heisman Trophy on Saturday evening. The Colorado star gave a nod to the rapper during his acceptance speech, noting that it was his girlfriend who put him on to the rapper’s music.

Hunter admitted that he wasn’t too familiar with the rapper’s music before his fiancée turned him onto it, However, once he heard it, he was hooked.

“You don’t know how you came into our life,” Hunter said.” My fiancée love you. I didn’t know none of your songs until she let me know. Because she listen to music. She let me know. She told me, ‘If you don’t listen to music, listen to Wayne.’ From that day on, that’s all I listened to. Those are the songs I listen to. When I get in that TRX and I blast that music, I’m listening to Wayne. ‘6 foot, 7 foot, 8 foot hot.’ That’s my song.”
