Travis Kelce addresses Taylor Swift relationship rumors on Pat McAfee Show
Kansas City Chiefs start tight end Travis Kelce went on the “Pat McAfee Show” on Thursday and addressed a major story. It’s not his recently-healed knee injury or anything to do with Patrick Mahomes.
No, the waiting sports world wanted to know one thing: Are Kelce and Taylor Swift seeing each other in a romantic fashion? McAfee gave the floor to Kelce, who, after joking about his brother enflaming the rumors, left viewers wondering.
“Nah, I mean it’s like, I threw it out there. I threw the ball in her court. I told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stadium in Arrowhead. You might have to come see me rock the stadium in Arrowhead and see which one is a little more lit.’ So we’ll see what happens in the near future,” Kelce said, referencing his attempt to give Swift his phone number after a concert at Arrowhead Stadium over the summer.
In recent weeks, rumors have swirled that the two had gotten together for a date or several.
Then the elder Kelce brother, Jason Kelce, the star center for the Philadelphia Eagles, fanned the flames of the rumors during a number of interviews.

Travis was left to poke fun at his brother while talking with McAfee and Co.
“Then you got — no one actually knows what’s going on, but especially when you’ve got Jason Kelce on live television just telling people both sides. He doesn’t know, it’s true, it’s this and that. He goes on Thursday night football, gets asked about it by my guy Tony Gonzalez, because his daughter had to know, and he tells everybody — the first thing he brings up is the ‘Catching Kelce’ who, I thought everybody got rid of that,” Kelce said, referencing his bygone reality dating show.
He continued, noting his brother still gets plenty of mileage from that.
Kelce ended with a plea, asking that his brother not become the source of information on his dating life.
“He’s had a whole lot of fun since then and he’s still having fun and then not even a week later tell everybody that it’s 100% true. I mean, the guy is absolutely ridiculous,” Kelce said, grinning. “He can’t stay out of the freaking headlines. He was on the show yesterday saying — not that he wants to be but the fact that everyone thinks he’s Ian Rapoport of my dating relationship. Please everyone stop asking my brother about my dating life.”
