Travis Kelce's ex-girlfriend questions 'genuineness' of relationship with Taylor Swift, slams Swifties

Just what we needed, someone else’s opinion on the Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift “situationship.” One of the tight end’s former girlfriends, Maya Benberry, has decided to weigh in on this endless and over-the-top celebrity frenzy.

Benberry, who started dating Kelce because of the reality television show Catching Kelce in 2016, took her comments to Inside Edition, where she questioned the legitimacy of the relationship involving the music sensation and NFL star.

“The only reason that I question the genuineness of the relationship is because he’s talking to the media a lot,” Benberry said during the interview. She also alleged that Kelce cheated on her while the two were together, using the old saying, “Once a cheater, always a cheater.”

Riveting stuff, isn’t it? But wait, there’s more! After providing such incredible insight on the relationship, Benberry also talked about the “aggressive” nature of Swifties, the cult followers of Swift and her music.

She claims that she’s been attacked on social media by the musician’s biggest fans over her previous relationship with Kelce. Benberry also made it clear that she has no actual beef with Swift over the two dating.

“Swifties are aggressive. Very negative, very hypocritical. It’s really crazy to me that someone that I think is positive and really nice has such a negative and angry fanbase,” she said.

“I don’t know Taylor Swift but I’m a fan of her music. You know, I don’t feel any way about her dating Travis. It’s cute. I mean, I had him first, so.”
