Travis Kelce finally talked about that certain pop star who unexpectedly showed up at the Chiefs game Sunday sitting next to his mother in a private suite at Arrowhead Stadium.

In fact, Travis and Jason Kelce let Taylor Swift be the lead topic on Wednesday’s new edition of their New Heights podcast. The two also touched on Andy Reid taking credit for Travis Kelce going out with Taylor Swift and how noted curmedgeon Bill Belichick talked about the date.

“I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her, you know, the friends and family,” Travis Kelce said. “She looked amazing. Everybody was talking about her in a great light. And on top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs fans. Of course, we script it all ladies and gentlemen. But to see the slow motion chest bumps, to see the high fives with mom, to see how, you know, Chiefs Kingdom was all excited that she was there. That s**t was absolutely hysterical. It was definitely a game I’ll remember, that’s for damn sure.”

And then Travis Kelce mentioned how the two “just slid off in the getaway car at the end.” Big brother had to add “everybody’s talking about it.”

It’s the truth. That’s when Travis mentioned “literally, everyone, even Bill Belichick.” The younger Kelce, who is one of the best tight ends ever to play the game, noted that “Belichick hasn’t talked much about me, even in game weeks that we play. But he made sure to remind me that that’s the best catch I’ve ever had in my life.”

Note, here’s what Belichick, an apparent Swiftie, said earlier this week: “Well, I would say that Travis Kelce has had a lot of big catches in his career. This would be the biggest.”

Then the Kelce brothers brought up Andy Reid, the Chiefs coach. He’s “telling everybody he’s Cupid. (That) he’s been manifesting this the whole time. (That) he’s the one that set us up,” Travis Kelce says.

Jason Kelce asks if there’s any truth to Reid’s claims.

“How to answer that,” says a playful Travis Kelce. “I know that he had met the Swift family before. So I don’t know, he could have been in the background the whole time.”

“Coach Reid playing matchmaker?” said a surprised Jason K.

“Who knew Cupid was so big? Shout out to Taylor for coming through and see me rock the stage.”

So what’s next for the superstar couple? Wait, are they even a couple? Will she attend the next Chiefs game? Kansas City takes on the Jets at MetLife Stadium. Taylor Swift gave a series of concerts there during Memorial Day weekend this summer. Even new Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers attended with Top Gun: Maverick star Miles Teller. The two, with Teller’s wife, also sat in a private suite to watch the concert.

Well, Travis Kelce said that going forward, he’s not talking about his private life. It’s football season, baby. Cue “You Gotta Fight for Your Right to Party.”

“I want to respect both of our lives,” he said. “I’m enjoying life and I sure as hell enjoyed this weekend so everything moving forward — I think me talking about sports will have to be kinda where I keep it.”

But will all the Swifties abandon Travis Kelce if he doesn’t reveal more details about this possible relationship? As Front Office Sports pointed out, the sales of Kelce jerseys jumped 400 percent. He gained nearly 400,000 Instagram followers. And the Chiefs-Bears games drew an audience of 24.3 million. That’s the second largest TV audience for a game this season. Only the Chiefs-Lions, which kicked off the regular season, beat it.
