Travis Kelce reportedly traveling to Argentina to see Taylor Swift concert

The Chiefs are enjoying a bye weekend, so Travis Kelce is flying to Argentina to be with Taylor Swift as the pop superstar performs in South America.

The entertainment site Pop Base reported the news this week. The report confirms the speculation about whether the NFL’s top tight end would do an Argentinian jaunt to see a woman he may or may not be dating.

Entertainment Tonight also reported the news of Travis Kelce’s quick trip.

Travis Kelce dropped hints, with prodding from his brother, Jason Kelce, during their weekly New Heights podcast, that he may be going.

Jason asked him “got anything you’re looking forward to going to?”

“Not really,” Travis replied. “I might just say f— it and just go somewhere nice, I don’t know. My skin’s getting real pale so I gotta go somewhere sunny.”

“Somewhere south?” Jason asked. His brother quipped “Closer to the equator.”

Then there was more teasing from Jason. “South of the equator?” Travis laughed.

Starting tonight, Swift will perform the first of three shows in Buenos Aires. She’s already sold 220,000 tickets for the shows. Then the following weekend, she heads to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The tour stays in Brazil for post-Thanksgiving shows São Paulo. It’s unclear if she’ll spend the rest of the month near the Equator.

There’s been a lull in recent Kelce-Swift public sightings. She’s attended four of Kelce’s games, the last being Oct. 22 against the Chargers. ET reported that the two spent Halloween together after Kelce and the Chiefs returned from a game in Denver. However, the couple stayed away from cameras.

Then Kelce and the rest of his teammates flew to Germany last week for a game against the Dolphins. Swift stayed at her home in New York. But she invited the wives and girlfriends of several Chiefs for a game-watching party. Patrick Mahomes‘ wife, Brittany, was one of the invitees. Earlier in October, Travis Kelce spent the weekend in NYC with his new sweetie. The two both made cameos on Saturday Night Live, with photographers snapping photos as they left the afterparty.

Travis Kelce’s trip to Argentina would have to be a quick one. But he does have an active passport since he just returned from Europe.
