Travis Kelce doesn't mind Taylor Swift questions: 'I think it's fair'

The biggest NFL story this season has had nothing to do with football. Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce dating Taylor Swift has taken the world by storm since they started dating. Every single Chiefs game at least had a mention of Swift, if not the singer getting screen time during the broadcast.

During the Super Bowl media sessions, Kelce has gotten a solid amount of questions surrounding his relationship with Swift. Both have been pretty open about it all despite dating being considered part of your personal life.

A reporter even asked if Kelce thought the questions about Swift were fair. Even before the biggest game in all of football, Kelce understands people are just having fun and not bashing them too hard. In his eyes, there is nothing to be upset about.

“I think it’s fair,” Kelce said. “I think it’s fair. I mean, everybody’s having fun with it. It’s not like you guys are up here teeing off on me left and right. Everybody’s just having a good time with it. So, how could I be upset about it?”

High-profile relationships are nothing new to the NFL. Some of the league’s biggest stars have dated other celebrities in the public eye. However, Kelce and Swift have been taken to a whole different level and have become an international story.

Seemingly everyone has an opinion on Swift’s involvement with the NFL. Commissioner Roger Goodell is certainly a fan, saying the NFL’s ratings have gone up and called Swift a “positive” figure for the league.

Even before dating Swift, Kelce was considered a huge star. Winning on the field has certainly helped but we have seen the tight end appear in commercials alongside Patrick Mahomes. The relationship has certainly elevated his profile, though.

For the time being, Swift is not in Las Vegas. She will be in Tokyo for four consecutive nights, beginning on Wednesday, for the international Era Tour. And although she has to be in Melbourne on Feb. 16, there will be a quick pit stop back in the States for the game.

Swift will be wearing Chiefs gear and hoping her boyfriend can bring another Lombardi Trophy back to Kansas City. You cannot say Kelce has been distracted throughout the playoffs either, as his performances have been incredible over the past two games.

Another one in Las Vegas would complete to perfect season for all the Swifties out there.
