WATCH: Trevor Lawrence caps game-winning drive over Baltimore with two-point conversion

The Jacksonville Jaguars watched Trevor Lawrence put in one of the best performances of his young career in a win over the Baltimore Ravens. With 2:02 left on the game clock, Lawrence took the field with one timeout and 75 yards to drive while down 27-20.

Lawrence completed the drive with a ten-yard touchdown to Marvin Jones Jr. to set up an extra point attempt to tie the game. Instead of playing for overtime, the Jaguars made the call to end the game on their own terms and went for two — with Lawrence delivering on the game-winning drive.

Trevor Lawrence’s game-winning drive to beat Baltimore

Lawrence began their final drive well behind the sticks, after their first play resulted in an incompletion and burned their “free” timeout with the two-minute warning. On the following play, Lawrence could find nobody open and took a sack-fumble that was luckily recovered by his own offensive line.

Facing third-and-21, Lawrence proceeded to pick up a first down on the following fourth-down play and delivered 91 yards passing — after the sack and a false start penalty pushed them back — with no timeouts remaining.

Lawrence finished his day with 321 yards passing on 29-for-37 attempts, three touchdowns and a 129.8 passer rating.

Despite his heroics on the field, the Jaguars almost saw everything unravel at the feet of Justin Tucker, who was given a 67-yard field goal attempt to win the game as time expired. The kick was perfectly lined up, but fell a few yards short and the Jaguars won 28-27. The record-setting attempt from Tucker brought an end to his current clutch streak in the fourth quarter and overtime.

Before Sunday’s miss on the 67-yard attempt, Tucker had completed 65-straight field goals in the final quarter and overtime of games — the longest such streak in NFL history.
