Things are not going well for the 98 team of Ty Majeski. After making a run for the Stage 2 win, his truck is damaged to start Stage 3. Majeski had a truck that was perhaps one adjustment from winning this NASCAR race. Now he’s stuck on pit road.

Corey Heim has dominated this race. But Ty Majeski was right there at the end of Stage 2. That was until he made contact with Kaden Honeycutt on pit road during a logjam. Trucks checked up and Majeski paid the price.

The defending Truck Series champion won’t be winning tonight’s race. After the contact he was very upset on the radio after the contact, and not happy with his teammate Ben Rhodes, apparently. That is according to Carson Hocevar, pit reporter tonight.

“The nose is pretty screwed up. We have to come in and fix it guys,” crew chief Joe Shear said on the radio, via Matt Weaver of Sportsnaut.

“F**king idiots, man. This sucks,” Ty Majeski replied.

This one mistake on pit road is going to ruin the night for Ty Majeski. These races are so short and there simply isn’t going to be enough time for Majeski to get this damaged truck back to the front. It was a great run and showed that Majeski will once again be one of the top drivers in the series.

Ty Majeski falls back, Kyle Larson prevails at Homestead

Kyle Larson said it was “unbelievable” and he is right. He was spun with less than 50 laps to go in this race. Larson overstepped and got into Layne Riggs. The Cup champion kept his truck spinning around and made it to pit road.

As he has done in every series in NASCAR, Larson came from the back of the field to win this race tonight. Phenomenal win. During the end of the race, Corey Heim had a mechanical issue late to prevent him from picking up his third win of the season.

Layne Riggs came up just short. To be the best, you gotta beat the best. Kyle Larson is the best.

From the start of this race, it was an electric event. The first lap was dramatic. So was the final lap. It was the top three drivers from the jump. Larson, Riggs, and Heim. Of course, Chastain kept things incredibly interesting. He sent it in deep from the start and ended up wrecking Gio Ruggiero and Ben Rhodes.

While Kyle Larson won this race, it was not easy for the favorite. During the race, he had to make adjustments to his truck. Then he overcame a spin. Finally, he ripped the wall in classic Larson fashion to win.
