Like any wedding or party, there were those who acted up a bit. Reddick ratted himself and his friends out while talking to Kevin Harvick on the Happy Hour podcast.

“I don’t know if they were having, well, I wouldn’t say…. Okay, I guess there’s two different answers here,” Reddick said to Harvick. “The person that was having too much fun or the group of people having too much fun was my whole group. The groomsmen, myself, we drank a lot of Cincoro tequila before the ceremony. We had a little too much fun. My best man Lombardi, Matt Lombardi, he’s the engine tuner on the 8 car [RCR] he gave a hell of a speech but we all collectively had a little too much fun.

“And directly connected to that was my father absolutely stressed out, worried about my well-being at all times. So, I kinda screwed it up a little bit but I had a once-in-a-lifetime recovery for the rest of the wedding and bounced back. So, yeah I don’t know, it’s stressful man. You do all this planning, all this buildup, but you get there the day of, and the day just goes by so fast. You just wish the night could last forever, honestly. But it was really great to have all the family and friends there. But yeah I just wish that day, your wedding day could just be 48 hours instead of 24. It just really flies by.”

If you can’t act up at your own wedding then where can you act up? Tyler Reddick has had one heck of a year. So far, he has had the best regular season of his career. Heading into Watkins Glen and Bristol, he is in a great position to advance to the Round of 12.

23XI Racing has been building for the last four years. When they landed Reddick, they knew they had their driver of the future, and an instant championship contender. Will he be able to make his run to the Championship 4 and win the whole thing?
