Tyreek Hill calls out Micah Parsons and Chris Jones, says he'll be able to block them
There isn’t an offense in the NFL that wouldn’t take Tyreek Hill if it could. He’s a phenomenal wide receiver who can blow the top off opposing defenses. However, he wants the world to know that he’s also an excellent blocker.
On Twitter/X, Tyler DeSena was breaking down the film of the Miami Dolphins win on Sunday Night Football over the New England Patriots. There, he noticed that Hill was a vital part of Miami’s running game as he set the edge on New England’s linebackers in the team’s toss plays.
For his part, Tyreek Hill took notice of the analysis and quoted the post. Hill wrote, “This how ima do Micah [Parsons] and Chris Jones I’m too much on that edge.”
Those are some of the best players in the NFL that Hill thinks he’s going to be able to take care of with relative ease. After watching what he did against Josh Uche of the Patriots, however, you can see where that confidence comes from.
Tyreek Hill was traded to the Miami Dolphins from the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of the 2022 season. In his first season with the Dolphins, he made his seventh career Pro Bowl team. He was also named a First-Team All Pro wide receiver for the fourth time in his career.
Through two weeks in 2023, Hill has 16 receptions for 255 yards and three touchdowns. With the Dolphins at 2-0, it seems like Hill is well on his way to the massive personal goal he set for himself this season. He wants to hit 2,000 receiving yards.
“Oh yeah, for sure.” Tyreek Hill said. “I think the added game gives me quite the advantage, so yeah.”

Through two games, Hill is on pace to grab 2,167.5 yards receiving this season. So, he’s well on his way to that personal goal, which would be an NFL record as no receiver has ever gained that many yards in a single season.
Tyreek Hill says he plays Madden instead of studying film
Recently, Tyreek Hill shared that he doesn’t necessarily study film when prepping for an opponent, but he does like to play Madden.
“I feel like Madden has a good tell of how good players are, so I just play Madden the night before and I go look at all their ratings,” Hill said.
“Let’s say, for instance, they had Steve Nelson and Derek Stingley over there — two phenomenal players by the way — I just go get on Madden. I go to the EA rosters. Then, I scroll down and I see what their awareness, speed and strength is, and that’s how I get a good tell on them.”
