Tyreek Hill injury update: Dolphins WR game status revealed for MNF vs. Rams
Miami Dolphins (2-6) receiver Tyreek Hill will suit up and play in the Week 10 Monday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Rams (4-4).
The Dolphins listed Hill as a game-time decision after he reaggravated his wrist injury earlier this week and did not participate in Friday or Saturday’s practice. Hill, 30, told Lisa Salters of ESPN he has a torn ligament in his wrist, but will play through the pain with Miami desperate to snap its three-game losing skid. Hill said the injury first came up during training camp and got worse after being handcuffed to the ground by police just hours before the season opener.
Tyreek Hill reveals origins of wrist injury
“He is expecting to play. But I did ask him to give me a little bit of background on his wrist injury that had him on the injury report and questionable heading into this game,” Salters said. “Said it’s something he’s really been dealing with all season long. He said it first started in training camp. But then he said it got reaggravated when he was arrested right before the opening game of the season.
“He said he was taken to the ground by police, and he said that’s where the further damage was done. Tyreek’s told me that he’s had an MRI. And the MRI has shown that he has a torn ligament that he said he is playing through.”

Hill, the five-time All-Pro, is tracking towards his least productive season since 2019, when he played in just 12 games. He has hauled in 34 receptions for 446 yards and one score. That comes just one year removed from leading the league in yards and touchdowns (1,799, 12).

Now, a lot of that can be pinpointed to the concussion quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered in Week 2. Tagovailoa returned under center two weeks ago, and Miami scored 54 combined points in those games. Hill led the Dolphins in receiving each game.
Hill, recently speaking with Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN, talked about how the Dolphins can get back to their winning ways.
“This process is hard, bro. Losing sucks,” Hill said. “Everybody wants to think, ‘Oh, it’s time to make plays, it’s time to go outside the scheme.’ Nah man, we just got to stick together as a team and just trust the process.”
